Politically correctly wrong

Mass political correctness. Discrimination law, grievance procedures, harrassment.... Okay, so working in a politically correct environment is good etc. Everyone's really fair, and there's a zero-tolerance level for oppression of any sort. (Wahey!) I find it stifling though... the overtly good, pseudo-roboticness of always saying non-offensive things is beginning to quake the rebel in me. Whaddaya mean I can't crack the joke about the Englishman, the American and the Irishman? Whaddaya mean it's racially insensitive? What's that? You're American? Well that should make the joke even funnier coz it's about you! Aww, c'mon! Some people are no fun.

I find the lack of kindred spirits seriously alarming.
