Can you please hold?

So I ring the Urology department, looking for someone. Ring-ring... ring-ring. "Hello, Urology....can you please hold?" some lady mutters. Ahahahaha. So punny.
Speaking of holding, I went to church in Manchester over the weekend. It was called Elmwood. I sat on a pew quite near the front and whispered to God during the hymn. "Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art. Thou my best thought, by day or by night, Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light." You know, there was something in my heart that KNEW, fundamentally, that if you strip me of all else, I would have the same answer. I would sing the same song. Take away Terry (my guitar), take away bike rides and chocolate, take away madras curry and rockclimbing, take away mud football and rainy days in, take away cheeseburgers, take away this job, take away my friends, take away what I hold dear.... and my answer would still be the same. I look once again at Job and I am beginning to see exactly what it means to let go of this life and to hold on to what really matters. So Yes, I will hold. If holding on tighter means letting go of more, then Yes, Lord. Naught be all else to me.

Hey

I know wot you mean, Jesus is what really matters in this world, he should be Number 1. What else matters eh, worldly things mean nothing (apart from bike riding, chocolate, and muller yoghurts obviously) :-)

PS: Cool sign, although there's no way I could hold for that long.
Then it'll probably be Engaged when I get there.
