Choices
"Every great mistake has a halfway moment, a split second when it can be recalled and perhaps remedied". - Pearl. S. Buck -
And that is what we call "choice". Funny how every decision, no matter how small, be it whether or not to wear the red jumper or the blue, whether or not to take the shortcut or to walk the long way through the park, whether or not to make that call or say that "sorry" - has implications, and changes your life forever. The intricate balance between milliseconds, of which your entire future hangs in limbo, depends on what you do or dont in a split second.
I could die today. In this snapshot of time; in this freezeframe, if my last breath were breathed right here, right now, what would I recall and change? What would I say, and to whom? I suddenly realise we keep silent not because we lack the courage to voice our convictions. We merely lack the foresight to see beyond our split seconds.

"A dog barks when his master is attacked. I would be a coward if I saw that God's truth is attacked and yet would remain silent."
Good points.
Yeah...that hits home. Too often, we sit back and fail to react, dont we.
"The day we remain silent about the things that matter is the day our lives begin to end."
