Sunday morning lalala

I still cant get enough of this song. I like how it's so laid back. I like how it's sweet yet unpretentious, sappy yet not really a love song... I like how it's reminiscent, but not sad. I like how it reminds me of a certain Sunday morning when the rain fell heavily on a zink roof, and how safe I felt, in between muffled laughter and soft kisses, tucked away in warm arms. A good memory. No point remembering horrible, wounding things of who said what and who hurt who when equally, there are happy memories to choose from. We cant control what happens to us. Only what happens in us. So here's me singing this as I type, in a brief moment of recollection, no grime, no negative jive. It's a good memory, nothing more. I have forgiven. My joy is intact.
