Work and Play
Haven't had time to stop today - since I got into work, I reckon I've had a bite and a half of my sandwich and some water in between. Busy, busy day today...I'm so ready to go home now...but I like this feeling - the tiredness that comes after a long day of doing something you're crazy about. How is it possible that God's given me something I love so much, how's it possible that I'm actually getting paid for this? It's insane. I wake up WANTING to go to work...
I've got shelving to put up tonight, a wall and a half to paint and measurements to take for the new carpet I'm fitting in. Mnmmnnm. I think a double cheeseburger, a beer and a lil rock on roll on the radio will be the perfect way to unwind this evening. I love DIY. Off come the shirt and trousers...this girl's gettin' into her overalls.

that sounds like work and work to me.... =) but i know what you mean with painting and flooring to do. I love diy too!

hi bec, have i mentioned how much i miss hanging out with you?... x i slapped on the word verification (great advice, thanks!) and within a minute had to rush off to court so I presume I wasnt online for long!

So how did all that DIY go? Did you manage to get everything done in one night? It's probably not the same for you (with your experience of observing your mum the super 'building supervisor'), but for us, we discovered that we always underestimate the amount of time needed to carry out specific diy jobs around the house!
hello lovelies. mom is fine, the DIY is nearly completed..just need to buy the carpet but havent had time coz ive been so busy at work. che, will call ya soon. the plectrum IS THE BEST I'VE EVER USED IN THE WORLD!
