James One Six

If you've read the comments in "Mulling over Mrs. X", you would have gathered that the situation was getting quite dire and my little heart was beginning to flounder. At 4:29pm, exactly one minute before I was due to go downstairs to see Mrs. X, who was already waiting in reception.....just as I was rehearsing how best to tell her I could not find her somewhere to sleep for the night, my phone rang. The Homeless Unit relented and she will have a roof over her head for one week, until the appeal is heard. God is amazing. I was preparing to deliver bad news, and within the next 40 seconds, I was bounding downstairs beaming like crazy.

"But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." - James 1:6

Nothing wavering. I learnt a valuable lesson today. Or rather, I re-learnt an old lesson. To be Grounded in Faith. He can do all things. I am going home now.....I can sleep tonight. And so can Mrs. X.

Who knows, your prayer for your clients is what makes things happen, even if you don't see it? Take care! =)

Wowee, commented in faith on your behalf. And the other guy posted James 1:5 for you... God is great! And this time He was good, showing you how He makes things happen =)
